The second edition of the Customer Happiness Summit and Awards sponsored by Khansaheb FM saw experts from a diverse range of industries take to the stage to express views on various issues influencing Customer Experience (CX). At the event, FM Director Jennifer Peltenburg was part of a panel discussion that included professions from retail, banks and hospitals who addressed the fear-mongering issue of whether machines will really take our jobs in the future. Some interesting ideas emerged from the discussions however, the panellists unanimously echoed the view that while it is easy to conclude that, one day, the planet’s population will be substituted by computers, research suggests that technology, automation, and transformation could not only be making things better for the average worker, they could also be increasing the job market by creating new industries, innovations and development.
